About Us...
The name 'OzKat' was formed from our association with
Oz/Australia & Kat/Kathmandu.
We have been manufacturing in Kathmandu, Nepal for more than 25 years and we have now expanded manufacture to Thailand as well.
We cater to the whole family with clothing for the mature Woman/Man, as well as some more 'edgy' designs for the younger crew.
We create two collections per year, Winter and Summer, and we
OzKat Clothing started as a stall at the local markets in Byron Bay, Bangalow and The Chanon. We retailed at these monthly markets for more than 27 years.
During this time we also appeared at the following annual music festivals on Australia's East Coast; The Woodford/Malaney Folk Festival, The Byron Bay Blues & Roots Festival and Splendour In The Grass.
We have opened 4 shops in total. Our first was in Mooball, Northern NSW (next door to the Moo Moo Cafe), Byron Bay and two shops in Nimbin.

Today OzKat is run by a Mother and Daughter duo, Lesley and Selina Clere.
We have now retired from the markets and festivals, and in June 2020 we chose to permanently close our shop in Nimbin due to COVID.
